Tuesday 12th July – bike **** – Early two rivers, Deben to the Orwell – cloudy and hot.

The hot weather continues but today was mainly cloudy with a few spots of rain in the afternoon! We decided once again to head out on our bikes early to avoid the hot of the day and were down on the prom before 6.30:) The sun was peaking out from behind some interesting sky’s as we headed towards The Fludgers, I took the usual route though the cliff beach huts and down the windy path to the prom while Mag took a different route ending up at The Grove woods. There were a few paddle boarders and swimmers out in flat calm seas and the Ferry looked lovely so had a quick trip around the boat yard before taking the Deben path to Kings Fleet. I took Marsh Lane stopping to take a pic of my favourite delict house and managed to get it on Chris Page’s About Anglia weather forecast, my 30th pic on TV this year:) I then took the shortest route along Langer Road ending up at the view point, sadly every oaf in Felixstowe had been there last night as there was litter everywhere I return though Landguard Nature Reserve with lots of boat action out to see including an old barge, the dredger and a container ship heading in. Back along the prom and up Conversant Hill, just love the e-wheel:) With no sea breeze forecast today I could relax with my exercises in the back garden, then visiting an old friend in the afternoon. Tomorrow afternoon is looking promising with an easterly coming, so hopefully another foiling session as I am loving the new foil kit:) Well worth the wait!
